Outside the wall

Watched Pink Floyd's, 'The Wall', again this weekend.
Now I've lost count.

Sunday evening now, a long week ahead.
Inspiration, and motivation levels are at an all time low.
Sundays and airports go together like bread and butter.

Why? I don't know really.

Wait... maybe it's Sunday and autumn.
The roads are quiet.
The leaves, well, they roll on by.

There is one thing I'm sure of:
Visit an airport, on a Sunday, in mid-autumn... and you will sigh.
(At least once)

I want to shadow the 'stereotypical' businessman.
The traveling kind.
Wife and kids at home...
no,
better yet,
no wife, no kids.
Just hotels, little bottles of whiskey, a dark brown genuine leather suitcase.
A cellphone, and a permanent boarding pass.
Always clean shaven (except when he wakes up, or goes to sleep... but you never see him then anyway), always staring at the pianist in the lobby,
thinking they could relate.
Solace.

Cheers

"You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!"

- Pink Floyd
